What makes us different
New vehicles, a different level of safety
Most tours in Huacachina run on hand-built sand buggies that have been around for years. We work with modern factory-built UTVs: the same kind of vehicle used in off-road racing, with the safety systems engineered in.

Factory roll cage
A ROPS structure designed and tested by the manufacturer, not hand-welded. It protects you above and to the sides.

4-point harnesses
They hold your shoulders and hips. On a dune, an ordinary two-point seatbelt doesn't do the same job.

Bucket seats and side nets
The wrap-around seat and the nets keep arms and body inside the vehicle at all times.

Helmets for everyone
Driver and passengers. Always, not only when somebody asks.

Long-travel suspension
It absorbs what the sand throws at you. Less impact on your back, more control on the dune.

Documented maintenance
Checked before every departure: brakes, tyres, harnesses, fuel and radio.
Before we start the engine
- Safety briefing and a walk-through of the UTV controls.
- A practice run on flat ground until you feel comfortable.
- Helmet, harness and footwear checked for every person.
- Marked route, guide in front and radio communication.
- First-aid kit, water and GPS in the lead vehicle.
- If wind or visibility are wrong, we reschedule. No arguments.

Your adventure begins near the famous oasis of Huacachina.
From there we head into the desert and toward the most impressive dunes of Ica. As the oasis disappears behind you, the landscape changes completely: nothing but sand as far as you can see.
Along the way we stop to enjoy the view, take photos and breathe the desert in. Every departure is a chance to discover something new.

We had the opportunity to go on a 2h private tour with Luis. Their UTVs are brand new and quite strong (450 ccm) compared to what other providers offer (150ccm). It is simply an awsome experience to drive with these UTVs up and down the dunes. You can go as fast or slow as you feel comfortable.We stayed with Luis for a few days and he organised trips to Wineries, Isla de Bolletas, National Park Paracas and Sand boarding/Dune buggying. Luis looked after us well and took us to some of his favourite local restaurants and cafes to share his love of great food. We had a great time and highly recommend him.Luis is a helpful, patient and informative guide. He loves his city and will help you to make amazing memories! :D We stayed with him for 3 nights and he was nothing but awesome the entire time. He took us to the wineries, the oasis for sandboarding and drove us all the way to Paracas to see the Islas Ballestas and the National Reserve.What's included

Our UTV adventures start in the Huacachina area, Ica, Peru. We send you the exact meeting point when we confirm your booking.
No previous experience is needed. Before we start we explain the vehicle controls, you do a practice run on flat ground, and the guide always rides ahead marking the route.
Yes. We run a safety briefing and give instructions before every departure, and we adapt the pace to the group.
Comfortable clothing, sunglasses, sunscreen and water. Because you will be riding through the desert, we also recommend protecting your phone and camera from the sand — a sealed bag is enough.
Absolutely. There are stops during the experience to enjoy the scenery and take all the photos and videos you want.
Departures are subject to availability and desert conditions. If wind or visibility are wrong, we reschedule.
In many cases yes, depending on the UTV and the ages involved. Message us and we will tell you exactly what we can do for your group, including children and passengers.
A UTV is a factory-built vehicle with a certified roll cage, 4-point harnesses, bucket seats and long-travel suspension — and you drive it yourself. The classic buggy is hand-built, carries more passengers and is always driven by its owner. We explain it in full in the safety section.
